Hi and welcome to my world, I have recently been doing a lot of research into Crypto-currencies, it became a whole new world to me. I want to share what has taken me days, weeks and months to learn in simple posts for my fellow readers who may also share the same interest as me. Let us go on this journey together :)
A brief history about how I got into the Crypto market.
The first time I was exposed to Bitcoin was in 2018, together with my colleague. It was just simple trades here and there, I didn’t have much knowledge at the time or knew what I was doing.
Fast forward to a year later, I and my bestie purchased a bunch of altcoins; not because we knew what we were buying. It was simply low cost and low risk.
We purchased Vechain, Cardano and Chainlink. After 8 months, 2/3 of the invested coins, 10x our initial investment, I still remember that feeling. We woke up every day feeling energetic :) partly because our portfolio was green but for me, I felt like I made the right decision even though it was so risky.
Early 2021, I became more involved in Crypto-currencies and what it has to offer, I started doing research into Defi, saving options, staking, farming. Someone I met along this journey made a comment about my portfolio “Why do you invest in a company that you don’t even know about their goals, purposes and potential returns, just think about shares and stocks, would you be doing the same thing?”
This has given me a little poke in the back and got me into researching about what I originally invested in, in the past. Then every day ever since, I would be spending at least an hour each day going through news and market updates, catch up with YouTube videos (we have a great pool of resources available to us at a click, you just need to know who to follow).
Never a dull day in Crypto, bull and bear can be all in the same day. That’s what makes the experience even more fun and interesting.
Financial independence is my goal, and I hope to meet more people along this journey who will be sharing ideas, teach me and we can learn together.
